Helping disadvantaged people plays a huge role in my life as I was raised in a home that believes in giving a helping hand. Ubuhlebendalo has given me a chance to play a role in helping change the world which I intend to fully commit to.

I believe in making a difference and the only way to do this, is to instigate change within our communities. I am very passionate about education and woman empowerment. Various circumstances have led many young people to believe that they are nothing short of being incapable to be anything they want to be and I intend to put an end to this negativity. I have a personal interest in playing a mentorship role to young scholars and students, by giving them guidance and advice on their studies and motivation to get through any challenges they may face. It is upon these very aspirations and interests that I want to create a powerful working force with Ubuhlebendalo in order to ensure that we can reach the objectives that this organisation is founded upon.

I believe my purpose on earth is to serve God and the rest of the world.
Selflessness should be a way of life.

Amongst other reasons why I want to be a part of UBUHLEBENDALO, is that I want to contribute positively to the life of someone else. I have three siblings and I am the second born. Being the second oldest child in my family, I’ve always had the role of being the ‘the big sister’. I believe this is how I can relate to the mentorship programme; where I do not only mentor someone but actually be their ‘big sister’.
This organization will provide a platform where I too will be learning from other mentors and even the mentees. This is an opportunity for me to grow as an individual as well.
If I am able to positively impact and make a valuable contribution to someone else’ life I’m doing something valuable with my time

My passion is female empowerment especially in young females, I love helping young women realize their worth and potential. I also love children, and my main aim with being a part of this organization is to try and be a part of making a dramatic change in the lives of those who need it.

Co-Founding Ubuhlebendalo is my way of investing back into my community and the entire nation. I believe that self-realisation as well as self-awareness are the key to reaching one’s full potential. I also believe that an educated and empowered young woman is limitless within her own limits. They have the ability to rise above their backgrounds and social circumstances in order to achieve anything they put their minds to. My vision is that Ubuhlebendalo will leave a legacy while helping develop future leaders through self-empowerment. Our aim is to instil hope while prompting change. At the end of it all I really just want to be able to say that I did more than just pray.

Nothing is more fulfilling than knowing you are contributing in making the world a pleasant place to live in. I am a firm believer of empowering myself in order to empower those around me
As Co-founder of Ubuhlebendalo this is my way of saying to Young People that I am passionate about South Africa and the role we can play in its development and I truly believe in our potential. We need more people who will have the courage to step up and make a significant contribution and through this initiative I hope we can transfer skills and leave behind a legacy. My dream is to change the world, I know it sounds crazy, to leave positive footprints on earth after I am gone, I owe it not only to myself but to humanity."

I'm very passionate about lending a hand where it's needed and giving anything I possibly can just to put a smile on another persons face, especially woman and children. And that is why I absolutely love the quote " I give not because I have, but because I know how it feels to have nothing".
I aspire to become the Mother Theresa, Mahatma Ghandi, Nelson Mandela and even the Maya Angelou of my Generation and believe that I am well on my way with the grace of God, passion, ambition and abundant determination that I possess.

I joined Ubuhlebendalo because giving is something that is very dear to my heart. Sharing and caring were values that were instilled in me from a very young age an example would be that whenever the gardener would come I would watch my mom make him breakfast, lunch and pack him a goodie bag that he would take back home to his kids. My mother would always remind me of the importance of looking after others as well as being a selfless individual. In essence, Ubuhlebendalo stands for values that are very close to my heart and I am honoured to be associated with the organisation as well as very thankful to be able to work with the selfless individuals that form part of Ubuhlebendalo.
