Mission
Statement
Ubuhlebendalo is a non-profit youth empowerment organization which is primarily focused on the mentoring of children and young girls. We have adopted Empilweni Community Centre and we have plans to assist them as well as grow with them as an organisation. Our focus is on Tembisa and Kempton Park as we have identified social problems such as teenage pregnancy, lack of sexual knowledge and self-awareness, social pressures etc. The aim is not only to empower these young girls but also to improve their socio-emotions and help identify their strengths in order to contribute to their various communities and realize the importance of education as a form of empowerment tool.
